Friendship

It is our good fortune when friends leave us with indelible memories and lifelong lessons.  Josie was one such friend.  For decades, she met adversity with bravery and a commitment to make the most of each day.  She was a wild woman that not even the wind would dare to tame.  Her exuberant love of life made her a force that continually defied the odds stacked against her.  This painting is a small token of my appreciation for the years that she shared my path.  You are dearly missed, Josie.
